Visit some of the world's best wildlife hotspots including Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. You'll see a wide range of animals including lions, elephants, wildebeest, and more. 

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrive to Arusha

You'll be picked up at the Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to the Onsea Hotel. The lush gardens will help you unwind from the long flight. (B)

Days 2 & 3 - Manyara Ranch Conservancy

This morning, head to Manyara Ranch, where you will stay for two nights. At the Conservancy, you can participate in walking safaris, game drives, horseback riding, and cultural activities. This ranch has a great location in the wildlife corridor between Tarangire and Manyara National Parks. (B,L,D)

Day 4 - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, visit Manyara National Park and then head to Gibbs Farm near the famous Ngorongoro Crater. This is the largest volcanic caldera on earth and is home to the densest populations of large animals on earth. 

You'll do a game viewing circuit in Lake Manyara N.P. that includes forests and grassy floodplains. Keep an eye out for the area's tree climbing lions! (B,L,D)

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, you'll visit the Ngorongoro Crater to take a game drive with a picnic lunch. This incredible crater is a true wildlife wonder. (B,L,D)

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park

This morning, head on a drive to Serengeti National Park, one of the world's most famous wildlife sanctuaries. The Serengeti is home to one of the greatest concentrations of animals on the planet. Spend the entire afternoon exploring the park.

Overnight will either be at Dunia Camp or Olakira Camp, depending on the position of the animal migration at the time of the visit. (B,L,D)

Days 7 & 8 - Serengeti National Park

The next two days will be spent exploring this incredible park on game drives. This park is the jewel in the crown of Tanzania's protected area system.

Home of the largest migration on earth, more than one million wildebeest and 200,000 zebras travel through this park looking for grazing areas. 

Day 9 - Flight to Arusha

After breakfast, you'll transfer to a local airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Freshen up before your flight home at a day room at Onsea and then head to the airport for your flight home.

Included: Airport transfers and assistance, accommodations, meals and game drives as listed, internal flight to Arusha, park fees, and full board while on safari. A donation to local conservation efforts will be made on behalf of all clients.

Excluded: Exclusions include international flights, passport/visa fees, exit taxes, optional activities, personal expenses, travel vaccinations and/or medications, gratuities, premium alcohol at camps, and travel insurance

Serengeti Lion Project & Masai Steppe Lion Research Program - These two projects work with local groups and resident Maasai to monitor the lion population and reduce conflicts between lions and people.
