Sea Turtle Nesting Beaches
Learn about two important places for sea turtles in Nicaragua:
Padre Ramos Estuary: Located in the Northwestern corner of the country, this protected area is home to critically endangered hawksbill turtles.
San Juan del Sur: The southern Pacific coast has several nesting beaches including La Flor, an arribada beach where thousands of olive ridley turtles nest at a time.
